Desserts in December
Please join us on Tuesday, December 19th from 1:00pm-2:30pm in CP 114 (Chemistry/Physics Building) for the Desserts in December all staff event!

A few notes:
- Hot chocolate and hot cider will be provided!
- The White Elephant Gift Exchange is up to $25.
- If you’re participating in the gift exchange and/or are providing a dessert to share, please bring those promptly at the start of the event at 1:00pm.

The A&S Staff Council is excited to host the Staff Summer Lunch and Fun event on Friday 28th at Boone Center-WT Young Library Bowl/greenspace from 12 PM - 4 PM!
There will be two food trucks to choose a provided meal from as well as a provided scoop of ice cream from an ice cream truck!
After lunch, there will be team games to participate in if you want. The teams will be formed at a later date.

Outstanding Staff Awards
Nominations for the 2022 Outstanding Staff Awards are now open at this link!
The A&S Staff Council and the Dean’s Office encourage you to nominate a colleague who you feel is deserving of this award. These awards recognize individuals who have:
- Demonstrated exemplary dedication and commitment to their department/unit and to the College
- Gone above and beyond their expected job standards, by ways of flexibility, respect, learning, competence, and communication
- Provided influence and advancements, furthering areas of teaching, research, and service
- Consistently modeled our mission of “through excellence, enable the faculty and students’ best work”
Completed nominations are due by Friday, March 3rd at 5:00 PM EST. Final selections and award winners will be determined by the A&S Staff Council.
The winners will be announced during the Outstanding Staff Awards ceremony on Friday, May 19th, 2023. More details about the ceremony will be sent out in the coming weeks.
