In 2021, I finished my PhD work in Ashley Seifert's lab working primarily on transcriptomics and regeneration within the African spiny mouse, Acomys spp. Afterwards I joined the Duncan Lab at University of Kentucky where I now work as a Bioinformatician and Computational Biologist and am working to develop new pipelines for analyzing different types of "-omic" data in the planarian flatowrm, Schmidtea mediterranea.
