Jennifer Branscum
M.Ed, Counseling and Personnel Services with a concentration in College Student Personnel
I was born and raised in Stearns, Kentucky where I graduated from McCreary County Central High School. I was an active Upward Bound member and clarinetist in the marching band.
I moved to Lexington, Kentucky after high school to attend UK and earned by Bachelors of Arts in Communication. While a student, I worked as a Peer Mentor for Student Support Services, a Resident Advisor, and barista at Starbucks!
I took a year off after my BA to figure out what I wanted to do, and moved to Louisville, Kentucky thereafter to earn my Masters of Education in Counseling & Personnel Services with a concentration in College Student Personnel (CSP). I worked with REACH (Resources for Academic Achievement), Exploratory and Transition Advising, and after graduating I served as an Academic Counselor with the College of Business.
When I'm not working, you can find me: watching the Columbus Blue Jackets hockey & UK basketball, listening to music, struggle running, petting other people's pets since I don't have my own, reading, watching TV, or playing Animal Crossing.
I'm very excited to work with you, so don't hesitate to reach out with any questions!
