Archaeologists Christopher Pool and Michael Loughlin have spent many summers in southern Veracruz working to learn more about ancient Mesoamericans.
"¡Viva México!" will be a year-long celebration of art, culture and history of Mexico and what makes it unique.
In it's fourth year Passport to the World will be focusing on Mexico.
The University of Kentucky Board of Trustees Tuesday approved University Research Professorships for 2012-13 for four faculty members. The professorships carry a $40,000 award to support research. Funds for these annual awards are provided by the Office of the Vice President for Research.
